Right of Withdrawal
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons (Sec. 11 Austrian FAGG). The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Leon Wilnitsky, Spiegelgasse 21, 1010 Vienna, Austria, email: leon.wilnitsky@aon.at, phone: +43 1 513 7918) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse all payments received, including delivery costs (except additional costs arising from a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery), without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment as for the original transaction. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of return shipment. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For valuable artworks we recommend insured transport arranged with us.
Exceptions
No right of withdrawal exists in particular for goods made to customer specifications or clearly personalized (Sec. 18 FAGG), or for contracts concluded outside of distance selling, e.g. in person at the gallery.
